Jessica Sabogal is a first generation Colombian American graffiti artist, hip-hop dancer, toymaker, and photographer.  Inspired by the stories less told, Jessica works towards a more unified and connected earth by making art that incites action, inspiration and appreciation. Her art serves as a haven, a tribute, a creative outlet of adoration and exaltation for all women.

In the past year, Jessica made front page CNN.com with her time-lapse tribute to the Egyptian revolution, designed the 20th Anniversary Cover for Plume Book’s Bastard Out Of Carolina, and is now the first female artist commissioned by Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.

    I love the way you do your art with that mat to make those awesome designs in the background. I was wondering what type of paint you use and what type of canvas did you use in the A Stencil For Egypt video. Keep up the sick paintings.
